Shelter News

This is Penny, isn't she sweet? She just arrived, all on her own but she isn't afraid.

This little girl came in with a family group of about seven cheddars. They were still rather shy when I came in for photos.

This is Ike, one of Whimsey's seven kits. She is a very calm, laid back momcat and all the kittens take their cues from her.

Tammy. She had been at the shelter a long time when I first started there. She was adopted out and was gone for a year. A few days ago she was found abandoned. She is pretty confused about things. I thought they loved me, she says.

Another one of Whimsey's litter of seven.

Sweet Tucker has been adopted and will be going home on Tuesday. This time we hope the people don't have any silly dogs. Tucker is a love of a big boy and just wants to be with someone.

Buddy, one of the cheddar group.

Julie, who is very very pregnant and will have kits soon. I bet they will be beautiful.

Another one of the cheese family. These are two litters of different ages.

And Mandy, in a thoughtful pose.

More cheddar cats?! You can never have too many orinch cats.

I feel so bad for Tammy. Can the shetler contact the people who took her as to why they just let her go? The shelter where mum got me stressed so much, that if for any reason I needed a new home, to bring me back. It wouldn't be an issue. I hopes Tammy finds a new and true furrever home really soon.

What adorable and sweet kittens and cats. Ike is a precious little boy, Mommy says he reminds her of Whiskers. And poor Tammy, we will be purring for her. It must be really hard to think you have a forever home and then lose it.~S, S & C

They are lovely and it upsets me that people would take a lovely kitty like Tammy and just abandon her.

I hope she finds a new home with lots of love.

Penny looks a bit like our latest addition. Is it something about that colouring that makes them totally unafraid? Four month old Willow is a feisty little thing who holds her own against all our adult cats.

What beautiful kitties! We hope they all find homes.

Our momma also wanted to say thank you for the work you do to support the low cost spay/neuter clinics. She thinks it's a great thing!

Hi friends, I am going to all the blogs on our list to let you know that we are deleting "Les Trois Chats." Momma is too busy to let us blog anymore - she has had a hard time blogging for herself even. We are actually now Les Quatre Chats anyway as we added LOLA in June, who is a POOP and has put me to shame as the alpha cat around here... even though, yes, she's a GIRL. (I know, SO emasculating! I need a treat or twenty to comfort me...)

We so enjoyed our time with all of you. Au revoir, les amis,

Moose
