Fergus in his Basket

I was looking through my archives and realized I never posted this photo, probably our most amazing shot of the little guy. This was taken when he was maybe nine weeks old. He was afraid to be away from us so I used to put him in this and put it on the kitchen counter or take him to the studio to be with Olof if I needed to shop.
I dreamed abou him tonight. It is very very hard to think that I will never see him again. I will write about the dream later. I don't feel up to it right now.

I don't think the dreams will ever go away - after 3 years I still dream about Ralphie. I take it as a sign that he is checking in with me to make sure I'm doing OK, and to tell me he's having fun at the Rainbow Bridge, and that he'll be waiting for when I come to get him.

That is soothing to hear. I know I will never forget Fergus, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
Thank you, Meezers

I agree, dreams are a connection to them. This is a precious picture. He was a happy little boy.

He was a joyful, lively soul and things are pretty quiet here without him. The other two are mellow but Ferg, oh he would have them up all night long and the toys would be all over the floor and the rugs scrunched up. We miss him so much.

this is my first time at your site. so sorry to hear about fergus. he looks like an angel. when my maneki died i really hoped to dream of her just to see her walking around again but i never did. take heart that fergus is in a wonderful place now where there's no more pain, just love.
