Morning Stretch

Here they are. We went to the vet yesterday. Their fecal came up positive for ringworm and coccidia. Plus they both have URI and their eyes are showing it. So I gave them ringworm medication in the afternoon and started the medication for coccidia and URI last night. Also washed around their little eyes with warm water to remove dry crust and applied an eye ointment. Both of them accepted this easily. They are eating like tiny pigs and sleeping together in the Thunderdome. They weigh one pound thirteen ounces each.

I woke up at 2 am and went to check on them and gave them a meal. They are getting Wellness Kitten wet mixed with warm water to be sure they stay hydrated. Harper comes running and hops on my lap. First he runs for the food, then the lap. Ramona also likes lap sit and pets and they both start purring together. I figure petting needs to be part of their health routine. They seem to be feeling better after their long trip. I am keeping them isolated from the rest of the house and cats but this morning I found Silas sitting outside their door (it is glass and I have drawn the curtain so they can see us). When they are well they will be ready to explore the house, Harper is already eager to do so.

They are very attached to each other so I am really glad we took both. I took Ramona into the bathroom this morning to wash her eyes and give her the medication and Harper started yelling at the top of his lungs. He was worried about her.

Sounds like Silas is missing a friend, and that he can't wait to make a couple of new ones. It's great that they cuddle and sleep together. That's the one thing ours don't do.

Very, very cute.

They are just adorable. I think it's great that they're so attached to each other. They can explore and learn together.

Look at those precious toes!!!! Trixie and Norton were just like that when they were babies - they were like a 2 headed kitten. they just did not go anywhere without the other one. Harper and Ramoa will find their space, but while they're little, they'll be attached!

My Cat Couch says that at my first visit to the V-E-T more than 18 years ago, that I had fleas and worms. The breeder called me the Runt (what does that mean?). But Cat Couch and Dad took care of me and still do. I am happy that these two little ones have you!
